BMW M5 Competition, 2018’s New And Redesigned Cars And More

When awesome simply isn’t good enough, there’s the new 2019 BMW M5 Competition, the latest performance-tuned sedan from the Bavarian automaker on a mission for bragging rights. Thanks to a twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter V8, the M5 Competition cranks out 17 more horsepower than the standard M5. 8,000 more than the garden-variety iteration, but trust us when we tell you, it’ll be worth it.

The chiseled and squared off styling of the Atlas shows off a far more sober aesthetic not exclusive to the Volkswagen SUV. Other automakers like Buick, Chevrolet and even Subaru are debuting and redesigning their own three-row crossovers with similarly square, and perhaps muted, decorum. The launch-exclusive edition gets 21-inch AMG cross-spoke wheels with a matte black and high-sheen finish, a larger front splitter, optimized diffuser and a fixed rear spoiler with mechanically adjustable angle.
